Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One X Support

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be one of the first games to support new graphics features on the Xbox One X on 7 November 2017. In cooperation with Nixxes, who have also worked on the PS4 version of the game, features that support 4K (3840x2160), detailed graphics and a higher frame rate have been implemented.

Rise of the Tomb Raider - 20 Year Celebration is currently part of the PlayStation Summer Sale and can be purchased for £19.99 or €24.99 instead of £44.99 or €59.99. As a reminder: the 20 Year Celebration edition features all available downloadable content (story levels, outfits and weapons).

Tomb Raider Underworld on Xbox One

As of now Tomb Raider Underworld is part of the backwards compatible game that are supported on Xbox One. All you need to play the game on the One is the Xbox 360 game disc of Tomb Raider Underworld. Simply insert this into your Xbox One. The console will prompt you to install an update which will enable you to play the game.

The Tomb Raider Suite Got Funded

The Kickstarter Campaign that was set up to fund the recording of an orchestral version of "The Tomb Raider Suite", an album of the music composed by Nathan McCree for Tomb Raiders I to III, at Abbey Road Studios in London, was a complete success. Starting off nicely with huge support from the community and then dropping mid-campaign to a point where some were afraid we would not reach the goal of 160,000 pounds to get the project funded, it picked up pace again during the last few days and finally hit the mark 30 hours before the deadline.

The Tomb Raider Suite Kickstarter Campaign

As of now the Kickstarter Campaign for "The Tomb Raider Suite" is under way. Nathan McCree, Composer for Tomb Raiders I to III plans to have his music recorded with a live orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London. Those who were fortunate enough to attend the live concert in London last December may have an idea what that means.
